Minimum Qualifications
- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Six years of experience in administrative services; OR
Six years of fulltime experience in any field plus three years of experience in administrative services; OR
A bachelors degree plus three years of experience in administrative services; OR
An advanced degree or a Juris Doctorate plus two years of experience in administrative services.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of fulltime work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field. Job Concepts
- FUNCTION OF WORK:To serve as a confidential assistant to an Assistant Secretary or equivalent level administrator.LEVEL OF WORK:Advanced.SUPERVISION RECEIVED:Direct from Assistant Secretary or equivalent level administrator.SUPERVISION EXERCISED:Functional or direct as required by specific assignments over any agency employee.LOCATION OF WORK:Statewide.JOB DISTINCTIONS:Differs from the Executive Management Officer by the presence of administrative support duties and absence of agency project management duties.
