The Executive Director is responsible for the oversight of the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) including ensuring optimum quality care is delivered to the patients while in the surgery center. This includes strategic planning daytoday operations physician relations and obtaining financial quality and supply benchmarks. We are open to clinical and nonclinical applicants.
This is a fulltime position working between the hours of 6:00 am 4:30 pm out of our Plymouth Orthopedic Surgery Center.
Twin Cities Orthopedics is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (iHealth) a group of local medical practices owned and led by its physicians on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.
Essential Functions:
- Direct the daytoday activities and operations of the Center in conjunction with nursing
- Assists in developing and effectively communicates with Senior Director ASC Operations Medical Director and Governing Body regarding all Center business including but not limited to operating budget long term capital expenditure plans Centers goals and objectives standards of practice policy and procedure manual and written job descriptions for all personnel.
- Seeks assistance from the Senior Director ASC Operations and nursing leadership in solving clinical and management Documentation is completed regarding these issues. Help develop clinical protocols that best serve the Centers patients.
- Recruit hire and train new employees according to established guidelines. Monitor coach develop and evaluate performance of staff on an ongoing Collaborate with Human Resource Business Partner to ensure the oversight of all employees is consistent and to the highest regard.
- Foster and maintain a collegial relationship with physicians vendors managers and
- Collaborate in negotiation of vendor contracts and see that all equipment and supply issues are properly addressed. Responsible for maintaining adequate supplies and equipment and ensuring costeffective utilization.
- Analyze the Centers financial reports (staffing income statement balance sheet and cash flow statement); communicate with physicians and (if applicable) health system partner financial outcomes of the Prepare and maintain operating capital and cash budgets for the Center.
- Assists with planning implementing and maintenance of patient safety quality and infection control programs. Actively participates in Quality projects as applicable. Identifies issues & assists in collection of data for Quality Contributes ideas for improvement.
- Attends required meetings & participates on committees as directed. Assists in establishing and enforcing continuous quality improvement data collection and activities
- Effectively maintains records reports and logs to meet accreditation Ensures compliance with federal and state guidelines and accrediting agencies.
- Assures compliance with hazardous waste standards radiation safety standards state and federal regulations and all other applicable clinical related standards (e.g. AORN ASPAN AAAHC JCAHO CMS CfCs etc.
- Monitor patient satisfaction benchmarks following up with patient complaints and service
- Ensures all policies and procedures of the Center are accurate uptodate and appropriately utilized.
- Identify evaluate and implement new initiatives when
- Serve as a liaison between the Center the community and local healthcare
- Contributes personally to the team oriented environment by demonstrating cooperative constructive problemsolving interaction with all Surgery Center employees.
- Provides timely and professional responses and communications to physicians leadership staff and patients via email and phone.

Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree required Masters Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration is preferred OR graduate of an NLN accredited school of registered nursing. BSN preferred
- Minimum 35 years of surgery center management
- Experience obtaining and maintaining Medicare certification through AAAHC Joint Commission or other ASC accrediting body
- Strong knowledge of state licensure CMS regulations and accreditation standards related to an ambulatory surgery center
- If Clinical:
- Current licensure as a RN in the state of MN or WI multistate Current CPR certification required.
