Job Description

Essence of the job:

Geotechnical Manager West Africa & Middle East providing support to the underground operations across the AME region with geotechnical expertise

Qualification:

BSc Geology / Rock Mechanics /mining etc

Expert Knowledge of seismicity

Minimum Requirements:

Providing support to the underground operations across the AME region with geotechnical expertise

Review and provide recommendations for improved geotechnical practices across the AME region

Review backfills designs to optimise performance

Review current QAQC geotechnical practices and provide guidance and recommendations to improve.

Optimise ground support specifications to enables safe operations whilst optimising efficiencies and reducingcost.

Regular engage and be present on site to conduct skills transfer and mentoring the site teams.
