Job Description:
Reading tutors will help students in the academic subject of reading. This includes primarily assisting students with homework or GED work. Tutors are required to attend periodic meetings and professional trainings that will equip them to be more effective. Tutors are responsible for completing detailed service logs for
each student that they work with.
Starting at $10/hour depending on experience and education. $1.00 increase for each returning year.
Eligible Time of Employment: 8/21/20234/27/2024
All applicants must be Federal Work Study (FWS) Eligible.
- Provide support and assistance in a respective area of community service
- Assist with various projects activities or tasks related to community service
- Provide excellent customer service to constituents
- Utilize available resources to perform duties accordingly
- Serve to enhance outreach for the greater Waco community
- Must be federal work study eligible
- Ability to comply with University policies
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
