Design & Engineering

CPP has the largest inhouse design and engineering team of any contractor in Australia with over 150 specialists across Electrical Primary and Secondary Civil Structural and SCADA disciplines. We provide endtoend engineering solutions for highvoltage infrastructure from nationally significant transmission projects HV substations wind farms and battery storage systems that drive Australias renewable energy transition.

The Opportunity

CPP are seeking an experienced Senior Primary Electrical Engineer to join our large and multidisciplinary engineering team across SA and VIC.

You will hold both technical and supervisory responsibilities for the development of highquality designs for primary highvoltage (HV) systems. You will support the Principal Engineers and develop designs earthing design solutions undertake arc flash risk assessments conduct conductor and busbar size assessments short circuit force assessments and electrical field strength assessments along with other related primary engineering design work.

Joining our inhouse Design & Engineering Team consisting of over 140 highly experienced professionals you will provide excellence in Primary HV systems be an integral part of our team and play a big part in the success of the various flagship renewable and utilities projects CPP have won.

About You

To be successful in this role you will possess:

• Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering Power Engineering or equivalent
• Demonstrated experience performing in a similarrolein the HV electrical industry
• Expertise in substation design and/or utility grid connections
• Strong knowledge of Australian industry standards
• Highlevel communication and stakeholder management skills
