Job Description
Community Options Inc. is a national nonprofit agency providing services to individuals with disabilities in 12 states.
We are now hiringFullTime PartTime PRNDirect Support Professionals (DSP) Caregivers Direct Care Staff Home Health AidesinNashua NHto provide personcentered care tailored to meet the needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This is afantastic opportunity for professional growth while making a difference!No experience required we provide PAID training!
We are offering a $1000 SIGN ON BONUS OPPORTUNITY for FullTime DSP staff and a $500 SIGN ON BONUS PartTime staff!
(You must successfully pass the 90day introductory/probationary period per the Executive Directors approval to receive signon bonus)
Starting pay is $19.00/hour
Shifts Available: MondayFriday 3PM11PM 11PM7AM 11PM9AM (Nashua area)
MondayFriday 3PM11PM 11PM7AM 11PM9AM weekends SaturdaySunday 7AM3PM 3PM11PM 11PM7AM (Manchester area)
Responsibilities
- Foster a meaningful relationship between the individuals and their community.
- Utilize Person Centered Plans to assess an individuals needs.
- Assist individuals with their daily living and independence skills/personal care.
- Monitor the health and medical needs of individuals and immediately report any concerns
- Assist with the learning and development of independent and communitybased skills
- Participate with individuals in community social and recreational activities
- Drive individuals to medical appointments and activities in the community
- Ensure program documentation and billable records are completed accurately and timely
- Employees must cooperate with the licensee and department staff in any inspection inquiry or investigation
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid drivers license with a satisfactory driving record
- Ability to establish a comfortable and supportive relationship with individuals receiving supports
- Ability to exercise good judgment and remain calm in crisis situations
Working Conditions
- Work in residential programs day programs and in the community
- Transport individuals utilizing your own vehicle or company provided vehicles
- Schedule may change due to business needs and may include evening and weekend hours
- Overtime may be required due to business needs
