You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThis entry level Project Scientist I (Environmental FieldTesting Technician) position involves conducting air emissions testing for industrial clients. A candidate must be willing to work outdoors or in industrial environments through a teamworkbased approach as a part of a test crew. The candidate must have the ability to travel on a weekly basis in a company vehicle visiting customer sites to perform testing projects. Travel is regional & within the state requiring overnight hotel stay as needed. The environment will include the ability to work with heights on a platform climbing smokestacks of varying heights 50ft300ft). A candidate will support the basic aspects of a testing project including equipment preparation deployment staging/breakdown sample collection and recovery.
Starting pay rate is $2325 per hour with generous quarterly profitsharing bonuses and plenty of overtime available the annual salary is estimated to be up to $48K in first year. In addition youll receive a great benefits package paid time off and the ability to receive referral bonuses.
Preferred Individuals with a background and experience related to **environmental response/sample collection mechanical construction or electrical work fields are strongly encouraged to apply. Experience with or strong aptitude to learn the use of the MS Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook) & Abode Products and tools/equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity. The position schedule is MondayFriday with some travel (company vehicle) and (paid hotel) most weekends off.
