Summary: International Inspections is seeking anExperienced RT2 (live source work) with additional NDT certs preferred for their busy office in Seattle WA. This is a permanent position for local candidates and those able to relo to the Seattle area.

Typically 3240 hours per week depending on projects. Field work and fab shops mostly with AWS D1.5 and D1.1 project work as well as ASME B31.3 and Sec VIII work. This shop prides itself on getting it done right the first time. Looking for candidates with decent and relevant experience. Pay rates typically start at $20 to $35/hr DOE and certs at time of hire.

While this position will be expected to help in a variety of ways the following are part of the core purpose of the position and will likely be done on a daily basis:

• Manage equipment and materials necessary for the completion of inspection
• Compile client reports including drawings using CAD and word processors
• Meet deadlines for work and reports potentially on nights and weekends
• Work with clients to locate and identify indications and their probable causes
• General shopassistant duties to keep the NDT shop in working order
• Perform nondestructive testing and examination at client sites

Minimum: Requirements/Qualifications:

• NDT Level II Technicians Meet the minimum requirements of an NDT Level II; provide documentation of education training and experience in the applicable NDT method(s); have a working knowledge of industrial environments and general manufacturing processes; ability to effectively communicate with other departments and customers to report issues and solve problems.

• Applicants must pass a drug screen and have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record.

Work Conditions:

• Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection.
• Work from heights on scaffolding ladders elevated platforms manbaskets etc.
• Work in confined spaces which will require crawling stooping climbing etc.
• Work in around operating equipment and industrial environments.
• Work with radiation and hazardous materials such as cleaners penetrants film developing chemicals etc.
• Work shifts up to 12 hours/day and 7 days/week and travel for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift and carry 100 pounds.
