What were looking for

We are seeking a Staff Frontend Engineer to join the Market Research Solutions (MRX) team at SurveyMonkey. As a key technical leader you will drive the development of intuitive and highperformance user experiences that empower millions of users to make critical business decisions. This role is pivotal in shaping the architecture scalability and maintainability of our frontend applications while mentoring engineers and advocating for best practices.

You will collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams including product managers designers and backend engineers to ensure our solutions are usercentric performant and scalable. What youll be working on

• Architecting and developing robust scalable and highperformance frontend applications using modern JavaScript frameworks (React preferred).
• Driving technical excellence by leading frontend initiatives defining best practices and mentoring engineers to elevate frontend development across the organization.
• Collaborating with product and design teams to deliver intuitive and accessible user interfaces that improve the overall customer experience.
• Enhancing frontend performance security and scalability ensuring applications are optimized for responsiveness accessibility and efficiency.
• Owning the entire development lifecycle from technical design and implementation to deployment and monitoring ensuring highquality and maintainable code.
• Actively contributing to architecture and frontend guilds staying ahead of industry trends evaluating emerging technologies and championing innovation in frontend development.

Wed love to hear from people with

• 12 years of experience in frontend development with deep expertise in JavaScript TypeScript HTML and CSS.
• Extensive experience with React.js (or similar modern frontend frameworks such as Angular or Vue.js) and state management libraries like Redux Zustand or Recoil.
• Strong understanding of design patterns microfrontends and modular architectures.
• Experience with performance optimization techniques accessibility best practices (WCAG) and responsive web design.
• Proficiency in collaborating with backend teams working with RESTful APIs GraphQL and WebSockets.
• Proven track record of leading largescale complex frontend projects.
• Experience mentoring engineers and driving technical initiatives across teams.
• Exposure to frontend build tools (Webpack Vite Babel) and testing frameworks (Jest Cypress React Testing Library).
• Experience with WebAssembly Web Components or Progressive Web Apps.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and frontend observability tools.
• Experience with building and deploying applications in cloud environments (AWS preferred).
