Short Description
JOB DESCRIPTION CARDIOLOGY ADVANCEDPRACTICE PROVIDER (APP) DIRECTOR Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
The APP Director of Cardiology will have the Lead APPs report directly to them. The Director will have advanced leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to foster professional development consensus and engagement with various individuals and groups. The Director will be responsible to evaluate the quality and effectiveness of clinical practice and organizational systems to drive process improvement and positive outcomes. This role will support the Cooper Experience team member engagement and education and quality outcomes for the organization.
Experience Required
610 years of experience in Cardiology andas an APP Leader.
Education Requirements
Masters Degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant
License/Certification Requirements
National certification in APP specialty. NJ APN license or PA license with eligibility for DEA and CDS certificates.
Special Requirements
Schedule Days/Hours:Varies; 40hour work week
