Short Description

This role supports administrative requirements and activities for Addiction Medicine grants. It assists with ensuring grant compliance that is part of an effort to increase and sustain grant funding. This position will support grants related to graduate medical education and will work closely with both Addiction Medicine and the Division of Graduate Medical Education. This role will not only support grant tracking and reporting but also assist with daytoday management of resident and fellow training programs within the Division of Addiction Medicine.

Assist with monitoring and upkeep of grant requirements

Prepare interim and final grant reports.

Keep management aware of grant opportunities and key deadlines.

Organize and compile appropriate data draft text and prepare grant applications and proposals for submission to governmental agencies foundations and corporations in a timely manner.

Coordinate and ensure the timely submission of agency private/foundation grants applications.

Act as liaison with Graduate Medical Education Department and/or other external entities related to grant operations.

Write external and internal communications whether print (newsletters annual reports brochures etc. or webbased

Assist with special projects and complete other duties as assigned

Will be required to register and schedule patients per grant requirements.

Update patient insurance coverage/guarantor accounts per grant requirements. Maintain and update patient registration records for grant billing purposes.

Experience Required

02 years grants experience

Education Requirements

Bachelors Degree

Special Requirements

Communication Ability to communicate with patients visitors and coworkers
