Be part of an active and growing Australian Owned Family Business that has been established for over 40 years. We specialise in the manufacture and supply of quality produced protein products to the Food Service & Hospitality industry in Australia and overseas markets.
We are leading specialist in our industry with products that are intended to value add we have a strong desire to grow both locally and overseas with our Australian branded products.
The Position
Due to recent growth and immense future potential at our Currumbin site we are looking to advance a looking to take the next step to assist our team manage the production operations.
We are looking for an effective leader who is hands on experienced as a Butchery professional who can mentor and coach their staff.
Responsibilities of the role are:
- Manage production operation of a small team
- Apply lean manufacturing processes for continuous improvement
- Provide leadership to production team to achieve targets
- Maintain a safe working environment
- Collaborate with the wider business in logistics Sales for business growth
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage your time and complete task
- HACCP ideal and understand safe food handling skills.
To be successful in this role you will have a trade qualification as a can supervise a manufacturing environment.
This is a long term and secure role where you will work in a team based friendly working environment and in a company whose culture rewards hard work performance and success. Your salary package is negotiable based on experience and skill base.
