About the Role
We are seeking an NLU Engineer to design develop and optimize conversational AI systems. You will be responsible for intent recognition entity extraction and dialogue management to enhance AIdriven user interactions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize NLU pipelines using frameworks like Rasa spaCy or Hugging Face Transformers.
- Implement and finetune text classification named entity recognition (NER) and semantic parsing models.
- Train and deploy language models (LLMs) tailored for specific domains.
- Enhance multilingual NLU capabilities by integrating diverse language datasets.
- Preprocess and analyze largescale textual datasets to improve model accuracy.
- Conduct A/B testing and model evaluation using metrics like F1score accuracy and perplexity.
- Deploy NLU models into production environments using cloudbased AI services like AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
- Develop and maintain NLU training datasets and oversee continuous model retraining.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Python and experience with NLP libraries like spaCy NLTK Hugging Face or Rasa.
- Handson experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow PyTorch) for NLP tasks.
- Has knowledge of LLM frameworks such as langchain langGraph OpenAI realtime APIs
- Familiarity with transformerbased models (BERT GPT T5 etc..
- Understanding of speechtotext (STT) and texttospeech (TTS) technologies.
- Experience with vector databases and retrievalaugmented generation (RAG).
- Strong problemsolving skills and ability to optimize NLU models for realworld applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in LLM finetuning and prompt engineering.
- Knowledge of knowledge graphs and ontologies for improved intent handling.
- Familiarity with cloud AI services and deployment best practices.
