Position Summary
The Associate Athletics DirectorInternal Affairs reports directly to the Director of Athletics and is responsible for oversight and supervision of the departmental compliance and academic services units while serving as the Senior Woman Administrator and sport supervisor for assigned sports.
Essential Functions
oAbility to effectively organize and attend athletic events and programs. oAbility to effectively supervise softball soccer volleyball womens golf and SAAC organization. oAbility to comply with all policies and regulations of the NCAA OVC APSU and State of Tennessee. oAbility to efficiently operate a personal computer and associated software (Outlook Word Excel etc. as well as Ellucian Banner. oAbility to communicate effectively and appropriately. oAbility to maintain confidentiality of records and information. oAbility to interact in an effective and appropriate manner with diverse populations the University community and the public. oAbility to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. oAbility to effectively supervise personnel and complete all associated personnel actions in a timely and accurate manner. oAbility to accurately prepare and maintain records and reports. oAbility to maintain files accurately in paper and in software programs. oAbility to effectively manage budget. oAbility to interpret policies procedures regulations and guidelines. oAbility to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with the athletics staff university community and public.
