Your Role

We are seeking a dynamic experienced and passionate educator for the position of Classroom Support Assistant (First Nations Education) to join our team at Shalom College Bundaberg. This is a termtime continuing position for 30hpw commencing from May 2025.

Selection Criteria
The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate:

  • A knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories cultures and spiritualities.
  • An ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students their families and school staff to improve educational outcomes through targeted and direct academic support.

About you

The successful applicant will have relevant experience and an understanding of and a commitment to the ethos of Catholic Education. In addition you will have excellent time management skills well developed interpersonal skills and a high proficiency of computer skills.
