JOB QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: E Essential functions N Nonessential functions | Percentage of time devoted to each task | Summary: Waste container 2 wheeled trash carts) assembly repair cleaning maintenance inventory and organization of the Yard (job work site area) at the Waste Management customer site. | E or N | 95 | - Organization clean up and maintenance of the yard (work site)
- Loading and unloading 2 wheeled plastic garbage carts or other waste containers on and/or off of company service trucks 24 to 26 foot box truck)
- Cleans carts utilizing pressure washer as needed prior to repair of container
- Repairs to cart may include welding assembly utilizing small had tools or power tools
- May prepare and provide warranty related information for products
- Maintenance of the job site area to ensure safety as well as overall organization and cleanliness
- Oversee materials parts and equipment inventory and restocking
- Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment as needed;Ensure ongoing compliance with all corporate and health safety and environmental policies regulations and laws
- May operate powerdriven equipment that may be needed to maintain the yard; such as forklift pallet jack
- May perform minor repairs on equipment as directed

| N | | QUALIFICATIONS: | | KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required. - Must be able to lift push pull or carry objects (up to 50 pounds) to include waste containers of various sizes tools or other equipment necessary to assemble repair clean load or deliver 2 wheeled trash carts and other waste containers
- Has the ability to assemble and/or repair 2 wheeled trash carts and other waste containers using the necessary hand or power tools; Product assembly experience a plus
- Ability to understand follow and transmit written and verbal instructions
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and small power equipment to assembly or repair products
- Has knowledge of the safe and proper use of equipment and tools
- Must have stable work history and strong work ethic
- Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
- Has the ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule
- Ability to read and understand English and to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers
| | EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: - High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred
- Any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge and ability to perform the required work duties and responsibilities.
- Previous experience as a Yard Technician at a Waste Management related company a plus
