This is an opportunity to develop performant and scalable SPAs for our many brokerage platforms. You will collaborate closely with other engineers product managers and our design team to deliver brokerage web app applications to our diverse client base of over 2 million users.
What will be your responsibilities within IBKR:
- Design and build scalable web applications within the VueJs ecosystem (VueJs Vuex Pinia Vite Cypress webpack) Owning and building hightraffic applications with a focus on speed and user experience.
- Collaborating with colleagues and peers to ideate plan and organize largescale projects.
- Contribute and help maintain our companywide Vue UI Component Library Aid in Vue3 transition Set direction and partner with other frontend engineers to implement new technologies Work with a team of intelligent intense and fastmoving coworkers.
Which skills are required:
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or related area
- 3 years of commercial software development experience with an emphasis
- 3 on singlepage web app development
- Handson experience with at least one JavaScript framework React.js/Vue.js/Angular.js (we are Vue.js fans so Vue.js is a plus! Highly proficient in JavaScript HTML CSS/LESS Maintain high code quality standards functional specification documentation and deliverables.
- Experience integrating 1st and 3rd party APIs Experience working with webpack and Vite A proactive and enthusiastic attitude and technical orientation are required. The ability to pay attention to detail.
