Job Description
Position: Grading Foreman
Location: Shelby NC
General Summary:Tower Engineering Professionals is seeking a qualified Foreman for our Grading Division for fulltime employment. Emphasis for the position will be on meeting the project quality and production requirements to satisfy customer expectations while operating within budget allowances. Projects will include new construction removal and replacement projects.
Essential Functions:
- Supervises coordinates and works with grading construction crews on projects consisting of major site work and miscellaneous other construction work.
- Will coordinate personnel trucking material suppliers and safety.
Desired Knowledge and/or Skills:
- Technical skills to ascertain a quality costeffective product.
- Effective leader with vital goalsetting planning communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to think ahead anticipate potential situations and provide practical solutions to conflicts that arise during the course of business.
- Knowledge of equipment and ability to reading stakes.
- Familiarity with local site conditions agency standards local vendors and subcontractors.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and First Aid skills.
- Ability to read and interpret documents.
