Job Description

Label Inspector Cards
Certified Collectibles Group (CCG) is a multidivisional global organization which specializes in the thirdparty expert authentication grading and conservation of collectibles including coins currency comics trading card sports cards and so much more. CCG is seeking a Label Inspector for Cards focused on maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and quality throughout our labeling process.
The Label Inspector will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of labels produced for graded collectibles. You will be responsible for inspecting and verifying that all printed labels accurately reflect the collectibles details and grading information. The ideal candidate will have experience in quality control strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fastpaced production environment. Experience with paper stock card quality control and knowledge of collectibles is highly preferred.
In this job you will be responsible for:
  • Label Accuracy: Review and verify that all printed labels for collectibles contain accurate information including the items identification grade and verification data.
  • Quality Control: Conduct detailed inspections of printed labels for quality issues such as smudging incorrect colors misspellings or misprints.
  • Paper Stock & Label Handling: Use your knowledge of paper stock and card production processes to ensure that labels are printed on the correct material and are free from defects or damage.
  • Production Efficiency: Operate within a production/assembly line environment centered on quality and attention to detail while achieving production objectives.
What You Bring to the Role:
  • Collectibles Knowledge (Preferred): Knowledge of sports cards nonsports cards and/or trading card games
  • is strongly preferred allowing for better understanding and validation of the data printed on labels.
  • Quality Control Experience: Previous experience in quality control preferably in a manufacturing printing or production environment.
  • Packaging Paper Stock or Card Quality Expertise (Preferred: Experience in inspecting and managing packaging paper stock or card quality in a production setting is highly preferred.
  • Attention to Detail: Impeccable attention to detail especially when reviewing labels for accuracy and quality.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams and address issues quickly.
