Inspector/Packer
Pay: $18/hour DOE
Location: Sand Springs OK
Shift: Monday Friday 6:00 PM 6:00 AM

We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Inspector/Packer to join our production team in Sand Springs. This position focuses on inspecting and packaging heat-forged rail track spikes ensuring all products meet customer and industry standards. The Inspector/Packer role is split evenly between visual inspection and packaging tasks requiring attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities for the Inspector/Packer:
Inspection Duties (50%)
Examine forged spikes for surface defects such as cracks pits laps discoloration excessive scale or deformation.
Use fixed or preset gauges to verify spike dimensions and head shape.
Monitor product movement on conveyor lines to prevent or resolve jams.
Packaging Duties (50%)
Operate automated filler equipment to meet weight and quantity requirements.
Adjust and set load scales as necessary.
Transfer filled containers manually to pallets label them accurately and maintain production records.
Additional Tasks
Occasionally operate a forklift to move palletized kegs to storage shrink-wrap stations or shipping docks.
Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks.
Basic understanding of gauges and measurement tools.
Forklift experience preferred (training provided if needed).
Strong work ethic reliability and attention to detail.
