Job Description

GENERAL SUMMARY:
Provides assistance in the development of new business and in trading up existing accounts; responsible for ensuring quality and efficient customer service through the daily management of assigned customer accounts. Oversees customer accountsmanage and coordinate customer projectstroubleshoots customer issues andmaintains excellence in customer service in order to ensure that budgeted sales targets are met.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Assist in meeting Company Sales targets.
  • Supervise Customer Service Representative
  • Provide support and assistance to EVP of Business Development as needed
  • Assists in the development of pricing strategies with the goal of maximizing profits and/or market share while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Prepares and presents proposals and quotes based on customer needs
  • Follow up on customer leads
  • Build relationships with customers
  • Explain company policies to customers regarding payments and follow up with customer on account issues such as tolling metal accessories etc.
  • Identify needs or problems and determine appropriate course of action for customers
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure customers needs are met
  • Gather and compile information for reports for customers on their account as needed
  • Resolve issues that affect the service efficiency and productivity of the Customer Service Department
  • Other duties as may be assigned

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Ability to provide outstanding customer service
  • Ability to develop and train employees build relationships and utilize skills of employees most appropriately
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills
  • Ability to schedule and adjust priorities manage time wisely and work to timelines
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Ability to understand and explain procedures to customers
  • Mathematical ability for required calculations
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Ability to multitask and to be detail orientated


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors degree from fouryear college or university; orthree to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and distance vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
