About the role
Lead a dynamic Contact Centre team in providing quality care for clients in Alcohol and Drug Services.
Operate statewide telephone and online services for people using alcohol or other .
Work within a strengthsbased and harmminimisation framework to deliver personcentred care.
Provide drug and alcohol counselling including biopsychosocial assessments and evidencebased interventions.
Offer health education advice and referrals to external agencies for further support.
About you
Relevant tertiary qualifications in nursing counselling social work psychology or a related field and eligibility for membership of the relevant professional association.
Demonstrated relevant clinical alcohol and drug experience including assessment brief intervention and counselling of clients with substance use problems and coexisting mental health issues.
Demonstrated understanding of contemporary approaches to alcohol and drug treatment including harm reduction personcentred and strengthsbased approaches.
Ability to identify clients specific needs and provide the appropriate assessments interventions and approaches for an effective solution.
Demonstrated strong communication skills (written verbal and via telephone) proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic patient record systems with excellent interpersonal abilities.
