Job Description
Energy and Utilities Consultant
Responsibilities
- Manage the process of obtaining utility connections and diversions (electricity gas water drainage telecoms)
- Liaise with DNOs IDNOs ICPs and other providers to unlock grid access and coordinate connection strategies
- Guide clients through procurement reinforcement works and feasibility studies
- Contribute to business development and help build a new client base across the UK
- Deliver high-quality consultancy outputs and manage key project deliverables
- Proactively explore opportunities in the evolving energy and infrastructure space
Requirements
- Strong background in utility connections and planning for UK construction projects
- Experience in at least one utility (electricity gas water drainage or telecoms).
- Understanding of the technical and commercial implications of utility infrastructure in the built environment
- Confident liaising with developers engineering teams DNOs and regulators
