Job Description Summary
Provide entrylevel technical logistical and patron support within the Center for Performing Arts and other campus venues while broadening and refining core skills through experiential learning. Continuous recruitment for this position.
Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION High School Diploma required. EXPERIENCE No experience required Demonstrated experience in a performing art setting or venue preferred KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES Knowledge of basic theatrical concepts and terminology Ability to operate theatrical equipment with and at times without supervision Ability to function at a high level within stressful situations Ability to work safely within a team environment Ability to speak and write effectively in English Ability to operate in multiple physical positions and at heights in excess of 40ft. Ability to work with heavy equipment and supplies ranging from 35 pounds to 100 pounds. Ability to work with specialized Theater equipment and standard tools control surfaces buttons/levers hand tools ladders and personnel lifts
