Job Description
Cloud Software Group (CSG)is seeking a talented and passionate Senior Cloud Development Engineer to join our dynamic DaaS (Desktop as a Service) team. In this role you will be a key contributor to the development and maintenance of our Gateway Service a critical component of our DaaS infrastructure. You will be working with cuttingedge cloud technologies to deliver a seamless and secure experience for our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain highly scalable and reliable microservices for the Gateway Service focusing on performance security and availability.
- Contribute to the evolution of the Gateway Service architecture incorporating new technologies and patterns to meet growing demands.
- Collaborate with other engineers on the team to implement new features and enhancements.
- Participate in code reviews ensuring highquality code and adherence to best practices.
- Work closely with QA engineers to ensure thorough testing and validation of new releases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues working with support and operations teams to minimize customer impact.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies particularly in cloud computing and microservices.
- Participate in agile development processes including sprint planning daily standups and retrospectives.
Qualifications:
- B.E/B.Tech or M.Tech in in Computer Science or related field.
- 4 years of experience in software development with a strong focus on backend systems and cloud technologies.
- Proven experience in designing developing and deploying services using C and Go.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms like AWS Azure or GCP.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and API gateways.
- Familiarity with networking protocols and security best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with DaaS or VDI technologies.
- Contributions to opensource projects.
