What Youll Lead and Deliver:

In this pivotal role youll be responsible for leading multidisciplinary teams in delivering a program of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Youll work on a range of exciting and impactful projects across Sunshine Coast Region Queensland bringing sustainable solutions to water systems that communities rely on.

  • Lead with Expertise: Lead professional services of a large water utilities program delivering hundreds of million dollars of capital infrastructure annually by a team of 100 Engineers and Professionals. The program includes portfolios of renewals projects and large scale capital projects across all asset classes including pipelines pump stations and treatment plant upgrades for both water and wastewater across whole project lifecycle from planning and design through to construction and commissioning support.
  • ClientCentric Leadership: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients ensuring their needs are met with innovative costeffective sustainable solutions.
  • Risk Management: Lead and participate in risk management processes.
  • Sustainability & Standards: Ensure designs meet industry standards (WSA AS etc. while focusing on sustainable solutions that create longterm value for communities.

What Youll Bring to the Table:

This role requires a strong engineering background and leadership capability as well as a collaborative clientfocused approach. Youll bring:

  • Experience in Water Infrastructure: At least 10 years in the water industry with strong experience in both small and largescale projects.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead mentor and inspire highperforming teams with a focus on professional development and inclusivity.
  • Design Expertise: Experience across the full project lifecycle from concept design and detailed design through to commissioning.
  • Communication & Relationship Building: Strong communication skills with a track record of building and nurturing positive client relationships.
  • Qualifications: A degree in civil mechanical or a related engineering discipline. Chartered Engineer status is desirable or a commitment to achieving this.
  • Passion for Sustainability: A focus on delivering water infrastructure solutions that benefit people the environment and future generations.
