Job Description

Since we opened our doors in 2009 the world of commerce has evolved immensely and so has Square. After enabling anyone to take payments and never miss a sale we saw sellers stymied by disparate outmoded products and tools that wouldnt work together.

So we expanded into software and started building integrated omnichannel solutions to help sellers sell online manage inventory offer buy now pay later functionality book appointments engage loyal buyers and hire and pay staff. Across it all weve embedded financial services tools at the point of sale so merchants can access a business loan and manage their cash flow in one place. Afterpay furthers our goal to provide omnichannel tools that unlock meaningful value and growth enabling sellers to capture the next generation shopper increase order sizes and compete at a larger scale.

Today we are a partner to sellers of all sizes large enterprisescale businesses with complex operations sellers just starting as well as merchants who began selling with Square and have grown larger over time. As our sellers grow so do our solutions. There is a massive opportunity in front of us. Were building a significant meaningful and lasting business and we are helping sellers worldwide do the same.

The Role

Were looking for a sales collateral creator who can bring to life the power of our Squares platform to acquire new business and retain the businesses that run on Square.

You will create evolve and maintain the sales collateral library by regularly enhancing it with compelling data and relevant messaging.

Youll partner with sales stakeholders to translate our solutions into audiencerelevant messaging and enable our reps to articulate this messaging with impact.

You Will

  • Build foundational sales collateral for all Square Sales and Account Management teams (pitch decks one pages QBR templates case studies email outreach drafts) that demonstrates how Squares solutions solve business needs.
  • Exercise exceptional storytelling and editorial skills with a proven ability to craft compelling persuasive and easily digestible B2B narratives that resonate with target audiences and drive action.
  • Lead with an analytical mindset to develop messaging that is backed by both qualitative and quantitative proof points that deeply resonate with industry decision makers.
  • Create content that complements a modular content library serving multiple sales motions and business verticals with shared collateral.
  • Maintain sales content on a quarterly basis to ensure metrics and claims are up to date based on earnings results market trends and competitive intel.
  • Be a crossfunctional connector to proactively gather product data and campaign information and masterfully package it into merchantfocused messaging.

You Have

  • Minimum 5 years of experience supporting sales or account management teams with sales collateral in a FinTech SAAS or RestaurantTech business.
  • Ability to build with creative templates but without copy writing and design support
  • Must have impeccable attention to detail and a sharp eye for content design including the creation of slides and ux/ui design
  • Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma experience preferred
