The Northeast headquarters of a national technology services provider is looking to hire a Facility Maintenance and Building Management leader for its North Jersey office campus.
What youll be doing
Supervise maintenance janitorial and security for headquarter buildings and grounds.
Schedule maintenance and monitor emergency power systems.
Manage improvement projects moves building services and third party contractors.
Train manage performance and schedule exempt & nonexempt maintenance employees.
Responsible for departmental budgets and expenses.
What you need to do the job
4 years of related facility management experience including hands on building maintenance in a commercial or industrial setting.
Ability to read and interpret documents including safety rules Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Maintenance Reports and Management Reports.
Nice to have but not required
Basic understanding of hand and power tools general HVAC electrical and plumbing workings.
Write routine reports correspondence speak effectively to customers.
Calculate figures and amounts including discounts interest commissions proportions percentages area circumference and volume.
Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral diagram or schedule form
Some physical demands include
Regular walking some sitting as well as handling and reaching climbing ladders kneeling and crouching.
