Principal Data Scientist
Primary Skills
- Problem Formulation (Business problem to Data Science Problem) OKR Validation against statistical measures Data Wrangling Data Storytelling & Insight Generation Problem Solving Excel VBA Data Curiosity Technical Decision Making (How many iterations to go for vs when to stop iterating) Communication & Articulation: Vocal & Written Business Acumen (Consume new domains quickly to learn through data) Design Thinking Data Literacy
Job requirements
- Key Qualifications Technical Expertise:
- Principal Data Scientist with strong LLM skills. Must have experience in deploying and fine tuning LLMs in at least 1 project
- 1418 years of experience in data science machine learning or advanced analytics with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python R or Scala. Deep understanding of machine learning deep learning and statistical modelling techniques.
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP) big data technologies and ML Ops. Familiarity with frameworks like TensorFlow PyTorch or Scikitlearn.
- Leadership & Communication: Proven ability to lead and inspire highperforming teams.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders. Experience in mentoring and upskilling team members.
- Education: Masters or Ph.D. in Data Science Computer Science Statistics Mathematics or related fields
