Senior Linux Engineer

RVSiGlobal is currently looking for a Senior Linux Engineer to support the growing demand of techsupport queries coming on to our Network Operations Centre in Jammu. Asa Senior Linux Engineer you will play a crucial role in ensuring thedaytoday operations of our highend customer systems based on clustering andvirtualization. Our environment consists of a mix of Linux systemsMariaDB/MySQL databases VMware virtualization and various application serverssuch as Apache Nginx PHPFPM and Java. In addition we use clusteringservices based on HAProxy and NFS storage clustering.

Requirements

• Graduatelevel degree experience and thinking level.
  
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in ICT.
  
• You are certified and/or have demonstrable experience with Linux Ubuntu or CentOS.
  
• You have knowledge and experience in the field of Linux clustering and loadbalancing such as: HAproxy and NFS systems.
  
• You have knowledge and experience in automating tasks using Ansibl.
  
• You have experience with a wide range of monitoring solutions and methodologies such as: Nagios/Icinga LibreNMS and Observium.
  
• Youre well acquainted with popular web servers like Apache and NGINX.
  
• You have good knowledge of infrastructure firewalls switches and routing.
  
• During your daily work you have an eye for security and safe working.
  

Desired Candidate Profile:

A personwith 5 years of experience in Linux Administration.

Should beready to work in a 24/7 work environment.

Excellentcommunication skills to communicate with international clients.

Goodprobing skills & Analytical skills would be an added advantage.

Goodknowledge of Microsoft tools like Word Excel PowerPoint etc.

Above average knowledge of network toolsLAN & WAN.
