The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Retirement Plans Audit Support Specialist to join the team in Mesa AZ or Seattle WA.

Position Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive research and timely responses to external auditors during the Annual Return/Report (Form 5500 audit process including census data and participant benefit audits
Work closely with internal stakeholders to gather necessary information and responses for various audits including those conducted by defense contract audit agencies corporate audits and monthly pension administration audits
Assist both internal and external auditors with the annual SarbanesOxley (SOX) audit processes focusing on critical areas such as benefit payment valuation eligibility and funding audits
Support the monthly reconciliation and reporting processes for nonqualified defined benefit plans ensuring compliance with governmental audit requirements
Engage in quality council initiatives aimed at addressing nonconformance issues that adversely affect participants or processes employing defined methodologies to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5 years of experience in defined contribution plan administration or a similar role
5 years of experience with supporting regulatory compliance processes/audits (e.g. SOX DFARS etc.
5 years of experience with Financial Data Analysis
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or a related field
Financial certifications (e.g. CEBS CPA or similar)
3 years performing or providing research and support for internal and government (Form 5500 audit processes
3 years of experience in benefits and compensation operations specifically in retirement plan administration or audit support
Experience with audit management software
Experience researching and problemsolving
Experience communicating skills both written and verbal with internal and external stakeholders
Experience in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools
