About this Position:
Job Title: Inventory Management Support Services
Objectives:
Maintain accurate records of accountable property.
Assist in the tagging tracking and reconciling of office equipment.
Support periodic inventory audits and property reviews.
Update asset management databases.
Ensure compliance with federal and agency-specific property management policies.
Requirements/Tasks:
Maintain and update asset tracking records in the designated system (e.g. Sunflower Maximo or agency-specific tools).
Perform physical inventory of equipment at government sites.
Apply barcode tags and update asset records accordingly.
Identify and report any missing misplaced or unaccounted-for equipment.
Coordinate with staff for equipment check-in/check-out procedures.
Support property transfers excessing and disposal processes.
Prepare reports on inventory status discrepancies and corrective actions.
Provide administrative support for documentation and compliance audits.
