Job Description
About the role
As a bartender you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages to guests and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Your role will also involve maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the bar area restocking supplies and adhering to all safety and sanitation standards.
Youd be an excellent fit for this role if you have:
- Proven experience as a Bartender or similar role in the hospitality industry
- Excellent knowledge of mixing garnishing and serving drinks
- Knowledge of alcohol safety regulations
- Ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and good organisational skills
- Ability to work evenings weekends and holidays as required
Your roles and responsibilities:
- Greet guests and take drink orders
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes
- Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area including restocking supplies and cleaning glasses and utensils
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately
- Build and maintain relationships with guests to ensure repeat business
- Provide excellent customer service to enhance the guest experience
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure guest satisfaction and efficient operation of the bar
