Enterprise Architect
Hanover MD
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect with a strong technical background to lead the development and implementation of an enterprise architecture strategy. This role is critical in ensuring that IT infrastructure aligns seamlessly with business objectives particularly in expanding manufacturing capabilities and product offerings. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in integrating and optimizing complex systems such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Manufacturing Systems (MES) and Supply Chain Management (SCM) within a manufacturing environment. The goal is to create a sustainable scalable and longterm architectural framework that supports growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enterprise Architecture Development Design and implement a comprehensive enterprise architecture framework that integrates key systems including ERP CRM MES and SCM to support manufacturing operations and business processes.
  • System Integration Lead the integration of IT systems to ensure seamless data flow and process efficiency across departments such as production sales and customer service.
  • Manufacturing Systems Optimization Collaborate with manufacturing teams to understand operational needs and implement MES solutions that enhance production efficiency quality control and realtime monitoring.
  • Sustainable IT Infrastructure Develop a scalable adaptable IT infrastructure that supports longterm growth and emerging industry technologies.
  • Data Management and Analytics Establish data governance policies and leverage analytics tools to provide actionable insights for informed decisionmaking and continuous improvement.
  • Technology Evaluation and Implementation Stay up to date with emerging technologies relevant to manufacturing and electrification evaluating their impact and integrating them where beneficial.
  • Risk Management and Compliance Identify potential risks in IT infrastructure and develop mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity data security and regulatory compliance.
  • CrossFunctional Collaboration Work closely with engineering manufacturing sales and other departments to translate business needs into effective IT solutions.

Requirements
  • Educational Background Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (Masters preferred).
  • Experience Minimum 68 years in IT architecture roles with at least 5 years as an Enterprise Architect within the manufacturing sector.
  • Technical Expertise Indepth knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF) system integration cloud computing cybersecurity and data analytics.
  • ERP and CRM Systems Proven experience implementing and managing ERP and CRM systems within a manufacturing environment.
  • Manufacturing Systems Knowledge Familiarity with MES SCM and other manufacturingrelated systems and their integration into enterprise architecture.
  • Leadership Skills Ability to lead crossfunctional teams and drive organizational change in a complex manufacturing setting.
  • Communication Skills Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
  • ProblemSolving Strong analytical skills and a strategic approach to addressing business challenges.
  • Certifications Relevant certifications such as TOGAF Zachman or ITIL are highly desirable.
