This role is a hybrid work arrangement. Work schedule to be discussed with the hiring Manager according to the guidelines defined by the department.


This is a temporary role for a period of 1 year.

Your role

You will provide highquality punctual onestop service to retirees survivors and exemployees in specific areas related to the payment of their pension. You will act as a liaison to internal and external groups process changes provide information and resolve requests or incidents.

You strive for excellent service standards and to maintain customer satisfaction.

Key activities:

  • Respond in both official languages to requests from retirees survivors and exemployees; ensure complete and accurate records.

  • Perform the annual pensioner audit; requests reports updates form and letters coordinate printing/mailing track responses and receipt of required documents; provide statistics.

  • Input pensioner address/phone number/email changes in the pensioner payroll system.

  • Conduct research (online by phone by mail etc. to find missing pensioners and exemployees; document for auditing purposes measures taken to find pensioners.

  • Manage the pensioner telephone line and handle correspondence including emails letters and faxes on payroll and auditrelated issues.

  • Troubleshoot issues and escalate problems as required.

  • Coordinate printing and mailing of communication to pensioners such as news bulletins special projects etc.

  • Track new retirements and provide welcome letters to pensioners.

  • General office functions such as organization of the online document management system filing photocopying etc.

  • Assist in the production and distribution of communications to employees.

  • Document processes and provide recommendations for improvements.

  • Work closely with the external thirdparty that performs the daytoday administration of the Pension Plan to ensure proper coordination of pensioner data and case resolution.

  • Work in tandem with various internal services to supply accurate information to pensioners and exemployees. As required perform other related duties.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with the following:

  • Diploma from a community college preferably in a related field such as Business Administration.

  • Bilingualism (French and English) oral and written is essential.

  • Excellent Word Excel.

  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.

  • Strong organizational skills to deal with high volume meet deadlines and work under pressure.

  • Sound judgement autonomy initiative and absolute discretion.

  • Accuracy and attention to detail at all times.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Patience customary courtesy and tact.

  • A high degree of reliability and strong teamworking skills.
