The Coordinator Volunteer Services leads the development implementation evaluation and promotion of Volunteer Services and programs across the hospital and is responsible for liaising with key stakeholders to develop areas of work and to ensure the delivery of effective high quality support from volunteers within the hospital.
The role is offered on a Permanent Part Time basis working 22.8 hours per week.
The Position:
Develop implement and evaluate policies procedures job design/position descriptions and volunteer performance review and development system to support the SJGH Bunbury Volunteer Program and comply with Volunteering Australia and Volunteering WA standards.
Coordinate the recruitment selection and orientation process of all volunteers in accordance with accreditation and legislation requirements.
Maintain a register of volunteers and identify volunteer functions and supervise mentor and oversee general administration matters pertaining to volunteers as required.
Update and maintain the National Standards for Volunteer Involvement
Act as Guest Liaison for South West Cancer Accommodation by managing guest room bookings via the online Sirvoy booking service in conjunction with Genesis Cancer Care and the Comprehensive Cancer Centre at SJGBH.
To support patient care through our Volunteer Program.
To recruit market and administer the volunteer service within St John of God Bunbury Hospital.
You will have previous experience in coordinating volunteers including the recruitment training and support of volunteers. In addition you will have a demonstrated ability to deliver sound outcomes with a broad range of stakeholders.
To succeed you will have highly developed communication and conflict management skills the ability to work independently and exercise good judgement

We can offer you
Salary: $85973 to $88329 (pro rata for part time) plus 11.5 superannuation
Permanent parttime position working 22.8 hours per week
