Job Description

Junior High Teacher

Location: Livonia MI 48150

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Junior High Teacher to join our team at a Catholic school in Livonia MI. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching junior high students and a strong understanding of Catholic teachings and values.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the schools curriculum and Catholic teachings
  • Provide instruction in various subjects including but not limited to math science language arts and social studies
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic and spiritual growth
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and coordinate schoolwide events and activities

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Education or related field
  • Valid teaching certification
  • Experience teaching junior high students
  • Strong knowledge of Catholic teachings and values
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
