What were looking for:
YOU as a Manager Software Engineering with expertise in cloud native development flexible and open to work in different technologies if required willing to collaborate with the brightest engineering minds customer focused ready to work at a fast but sustainable pace and help scale our critical cloud microservices required by Citrix Client Apps.
Job Description/Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of 810 engineers with varying degrees of experience.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define design and ship new features.
- Own and manage the product engineering roadmap & releases prioritizing performance scalability and quality.
- Debug and handle complex technical design discussions across various stakeholders.
- Understand and enforce best security practices.
- Track and report project and feature status to executive level.
- Continuously discover evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
- Help maintain code quality organization and automation.
- Actively supports communicates and enforces the companys software engineering processes and standards.
- Contribute to Quality and Process improvements throughout the development life cycle.
- Manage team skills and actively recruit top talent.
Basic Qualifications:
- BE/BTech in Computer Science or related field with 1215 years of overall software development experience.
- Minimum of 1 years experience in engineering management.
- Must have delivered 23 large projects in production and well versed with handling of postproduction customer escalations.
- Very good understanding of Cloud Native development.
- Experience in Azure or AWS cloud platform.
- Development experience in one or more of these languages : Java JavaScript TypeScript. Experience in Angular framework.
- Experience with Agile development methodology (preferably scrum).
- Excellent communications skills and able to lead a team of highly technical individuals.
- Experience/Exposure to development tools (GitHub Copilot) Automation testing (Cypress) and CI/CD tools (GIT Jenkins JIRA etc.
