Job Description
Job Overview:
The Software Development Intern will assist our development team in building the backend and frontend components of our drone application. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in software development and contribute to an innovative project.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing testing and debugging code under the guidance of senior developers.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of new features and functionalities.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement user interfaces.
- Participate in code reviews and adhere to coding standards.
- Document code and technical specifications.
- Work in an agile development environment meeting deadlines and delivering highquality code.
Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
- Basic understanding of programming languages such as Python Java PHP JavaScript.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Courses or certifications specifically in Android development are beneficial. These might include topics like Android SDK Android Studio APIs and UI/UX design for mobile apps.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to backend services.
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous internship or project experience in software development.
- Experience with web frameworks like Django Flask or React.
- Familiarity with database management systems like SQL or MongoDB.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS Google Cloud or Azure.
