General Ledger Accountant

Meet the Team
Silicon Labs a growthoriented worldwide fabless semiconductor company headquartered in Austin TX is seeking a General Ledger Accountant to join our finance team. In this role you would manage and maintain General Ledger activities and subledger details for various assets and liabilities including but not limited to cash receivables prepaid assets fixed assets intangible assets and accruals. The ideal candidate has a strong background in accounting works collaboratively in a team setting and demonstrates strong analytical thinking and problemsolving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain record of assets liabilities and other financial transactions.
- Maintain a record of company owned assets and ensure that all fixed and intangible assets are depreciated or amortized in an accurate and consistent manner.
- Perform reconciliations of subledger data to the general ledger for various assets and liabilities.
- Process intercompany billings lease receivables and cash receipts.
- Book journal entries related to routine weekly duties as well as monthly and quarterly close duties.
- Prepare audit schedules requested by both internal and external auditors and answer questions related thereto.
- Ensure lease accounting is consistent with ASC 842 standard.
- Special projects including impairment testing.
Skills You Will Need
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in accounting is required.
- Minimum of 13 years of progressive experience in accounting.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills required.
- Fundamental understanding of accounting and U.S. GAAP.
- Ability to reconcile and analyze balance sheet accounts.
- Basic knowledge of audit skills and Sarbanes Oxley compliance.
- Experience with international subsidiaries intercompany transactions and foreign currency.
- Must be a team player with ability to interact with multiple functions in the company and be highly detail oriented.
The following qualifications will be considered a plus:
- CPA certification is preferred.
- Experience with SAP ERP Business Planning & Consolidation (BPC) and Business Explorer is preferred.
- Experience with ASC 842 preferred.
- Previous Big 4 experience preferred.

The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $70700 $131300 USD. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience geographic location where work will be performed and applicants skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
