Join Our Team as a Dietary Supervisor
Lead with Excellence and Ensure Quality Nutrition
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dietary Supervisor to work closely with the Dietary Manager and support the operations of the Dietary Services Department. This role is essential for maintaining the highest standards of food service and ensuring that residents receive safe nutritious and wellprepared meals.
Your Impact as a Dietary Supervisor
In this role you will:
- Maintain Quality Food Service: Ensure food products are prepared according to menu plans and standardized recipes to maintain quality and consistency.
- Supervise Staff: Oversee the daily operations of dietary service staff providing leadership and guidance to ensure efficiency and compliance.
- Ensure Safety and Compliance: Monitor the proper handling and utilization of food and equipment to prevent contamination maintain safety and minimize costs.
- Conduct Inspections: Check daily temperatures of food and equipment and ensure dining areas are stocked clean and free of dirty trays.
- Oversee Dining Experience: Ensure trays ticket orders and serving times meet state and facility guidelines.
- Implement Cleaning Protocols: Monitor the cleaning schedule ensuring that areas such as the steam table and salad bar are cleaned and sanitized after each meal.
- Facilitate Training: Develop and conduct inservice and orientation programs for dietary staff on a monthly basis.
- Collaborate with the Dietary Manager: Communicate daily to confirm if tray tickets are complete and address any discrepancies.
