Job Description:
As a Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for a wide range of maintenance tasks to support the efficient operation of our manufacturing facility. This role requires a general handyman with experience in various maintenance areas including painting hydraulics pneumatics and building maintenance. Your expertise will contribute to the overall safety cleanliness and functionality of our workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
- Perform basic repairs and troubleshooting on hydraulics and pneumatics systems.
- Execute painting tasks for equipment and facility areas as needed.
- Address building maintenance needs including carpentry electrical plumbing and HVAC systems.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the facility.
- Assist in equipment installations and relocations.
- Support the maintenance team in conducting preventative maintenance activities.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair tasks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Technical or trade school training is a plus).
- Proven experience in a maintenance technician role.
- Proficiency in various maintenance areas including painting hydraulics pneumatics and building maintenance.
- Knowledge of basic carpentry electrical plumbing and HVAC systems.
- Ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance tasks independently.
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Safetyconscious and a commitment to workplace safety.
Working Conditions:
