Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Maintenance Technician to join our team. This individual will be responsible for troubleshooting repairing and maintaining a wide variety of mechanical hydraulic electrical and plumbing systems within our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and be comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Essential Job Functions:
- Work safely at all times and adhere to safety protocols.
- Diagnose repair and maintain hydraulic systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing-related issues.
- Identify and repair electrical problems and equipment malfunctions.
- Maintain and repair mechanical equipment and systems.
- Perform welding and metal fabrication as needed.
- Use grinding tools and equipment to support maintenance tasks.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- Repair and maintain a wide range of machinery including but not limited to:
- Power Mechanical Presses (PMPs)
- Welders
- Grinders
- Forklifts
- Hoists
- All other equipment within the facility
Requirements:
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing electrical hydraulic and mechanical systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a dirty noisy and industrial environment.
- Capable of working under pressure and handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must be able to lift bend and work in various physical conditions typical of an industrial setting.
Preferred Qualifications (Optional):
- Prior experience in industrial maintenance or manufacturing settings.
- Welding certification or technical training is a plus.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools.
