About ADF Health Services
In partnership with Bupa our ADF Health Services team provides integrated healthcare services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel across Australia.

This includes providing defenceready clinical and support staff across 45 onbase locations ensuring that ADF personnel have access to quality onsite medical care.

About Cerberus

Cerberus Health Centre is located at HMAS Cerberus in Westernport (adjacent to Crib Point on the Mornington Peninsula). This Naval base has approximately 4000 members and is the primary training establishment for young recruits (about 6000 personnel trained annually) averaging 800 trainees onboard at any one time. The health centre provides primary medical outpatient dental nursing physiotherapy mental health and pharmaceutical services. It contains a 30 bed low dependency ward which operates 24/7. The standard operating hours are generally 07:30 15:30 Monday Friday (depending on role requirements and specific craft groups required for weekend and oncall shifts). The facility is also responsible for the provision of afterhours services to ADF personnel on the Mornington Peninsula.

Serco is a place for you
Based at the Cerberus Health Centre you will provide support and treatments to valuable Defence Force Personnel. You will be responsible for providing a range of evidencebased physiotherapy assessments treatments and rehabilitative services to patients. These services will include providing direction on rehabilitation programs splinting/plastering/fitting of orthoses or other devices use of electrotherapy modalities or hydrotherapy pools where required as well as providing advice and recommendations to other health professionals.

To be successful in this role youll have:

• The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour.
• Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Minimum of 2 years fulltime post graduate musculoskeletal experience within the last 5 years in an accredited physiotherapy environment (or parttime equivalent).
• Recent participation in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities in accordance with AHPRA
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009 certification.
• Membership of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (desirable).

Please note:

• You must be an Australian Citizen to obtain the required Baseline Security Clearance for this role.
• You dont need to be enlisted in the Defence Force to work as a civilian onbase and your job stays here even if the Defence personnel you care for are deployed.
