At Lifescale Analytics we help achieve data driven decisions by leveraging strategic technologies to create innovative solutions that ultimately help our clients to navigate their everchanging data landscape.We have an opportunity for a Financial Business Analyst. This role will be an Onsite Role candidates will be required to be onsite in Ocoee FL. Travel and relocation expenses will not be covered by the client or employer.

Applicants responding to this position must be a US Citizen and will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements by currently possessing the ability to view classified government information. Must have lived in the US for the past 5 years.

The Employer will not sponsor applicants for any employment visas at hiring or in the future including but not limited to H1B & EAD visas. CorptoCorp or subcontract personnel will not be considered for this position.

Scope of Services

  • The Financial Books and Records (FB&R) Transformation Analyst will be instrumental in the successful transition of the client to the PALM (Planning Accounting and Ledger Management) system.
  • This role requires a detailoriented individual with strong analytical and problemsolving skills to lead the transformation of FTEs financial processes books and records to align with the new statewide accounting platform.
  • Develop and maintain detailed current and future state process maps of FTEs financial operations identifying opportunities for improvement and alignment with PALM system requirements.
  • Lead the identification documentation and optimization of FTEs financial processes.
  • Conduct a comprehensive analysis and reconciliation of FTEs Chart of Accounts (COA) to align with PALM.
  • Oversee the migration of financial data to the new system ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Develop and implement new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for financial operations.
  • Develop and execute test plans to validate system functionality and data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the PALM Project Team and FTE stakeholders to ensure a successful transition.


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting.
  • Demonstrated Advanced Excel Skills
  • Demonstrated process mapping experience
  • Proven experience in process mapping and improvement.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Oracle or Transformation Implementations
  • Power Query PowerPivot is a plus
  • Process modeling software such as IBM Blueworks or Visio

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
