What youll be able to do:
- Create build and maintain parametric mass models to forecast mass properties of future components vehicles and systems.
- Own and publish a 3Dbased mass billofmaterials for all vehicle configurations.
- Run multibody dynamics analysis and other parametric tools to calculate design loads for a variety of vehicle components (chassis powertrain thermal etc.
- Collaborate with system and attribute owners to track mass properties and identify innovative mass saving solutions.
- Investigate and assess feasibility of alternative manufacturing methods geometries or emerging technologies that can reduce vehicle masses and/or loads.
Responsibilities
The minimum requirements we seek:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Automotive Engineering or equivalent
- 5 years experience in automotive or related field
- Strong engineering fundamentals and ability to apply broadly to vehicle systems and manufacturing processes
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic work environment
- 3D CAD and multibody dynamics software proficiency.
Qualifications
Our preferred requirements:
- Prior experience managing parametric mass models and mass billofmaterials
- Strong proficiency in 3D Experience/Catia and MSC Adams.
- 3 years experience working with EVs
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong proficiency in Atlassian tools (Confluence JIRA)
- Strong verbal and written communication
