What youll be able to do:

  • Create build and maintain parametric mass models to forecast mass properties of future components vehicles and systems.
  • Own and publish a 3Dbased mass billofmaterials for all vehicle configurations.
  • Run multibody dynamics analysis and other parametric tools to calculate design loads for a variety of vehicle components (chassis powertrain thermal etc.
  • Collaborate with system and attribute owners to track mass properties and identify innovative mass saving solutions.
  • Investigate and assess feasibility of alternative manufacturing methods geometries or emerging technologies that can reduce vehicle masses and/or loads.


Responsibilities

The minimum requirements we seek:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Automotive Engineering or equivalent
  • 5 years experience in automotive or related field
  • Strong engineering fundamentals and ability to apply broadly to vehicle systems and manufacturing processes
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic work environment
  • 3D CAD and multibody dynamics software proficiency.


Qualifications

Our preferred requirements:

  • Prior experience managing parametric mass models and mass billofmaterials
  • Strong proficiency in 3D Experience/Catia and MSC Adams.
  • 3 years experience working with EVs
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong proficiency in Atlassian tools (Confluence JIRA)
  • Strong verbal and written communication
