Description
Located in Tucson AZ our Brief Intervention Program (BIP) is a shortterm residential facility that provides enhanced residential services to male and female adolescents ages 1217. Individuals stay up to 30 days in our structured treatment setting which includes 24hour supervision and therapeutic services. This program is designed for adolescents who are in crisis requiring active treatment in an environment with a high degree of oversight intensive programming and treatment. The BIP features living facilities education/schooling food services medical/nursing and therapy services.
As a Direct Care Professional (DCP) you will work directly with the children/youth to be seen as a positive role model dedicated and truly caring about their wellbeing. DCPs mentor and have fun with kids doing various yearround enrichment activities behavior management and education! You will assist and support the planning implementation and documentation of those programs designed to meet the social emotional physical and personal needs of all individuals.
Pay Range: $18.00 $19.80 hr
Various Full Time Schedule! Ability to work shifts as late as 10:30pm as well as weekends (schedules are subject to change)

Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High School diploma or GED required; Bachelors degree in related field preferred
- Six 6 weeks of behavioral health work experience
- OR Bachelors degree in the areas of psychology sociology social work education or other related field OR 12 years of related experience
- Previous experience preferred (not required) working with individuals under 21 with psychological emotional and behavioral disorders complex posttraumatic stress disorder cooccurring mental health and substance abuse disorders and/or autism spectrum disorders
OTHER:
- Valid Arizona Drivers License & pass DMV 36month history check
- Current AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card with no restrictions (or eligibility to obtain with no restrictions). Arizona Revised Statues Notice (ARS 36411 Residential care institutions; nursing care institutions; home health agencies; fingerprinting requirements; exemptions; definitions). If a persons employment record contains a sixmonth or longer time frame during which the person was not employed by any employer a completed application with a new set of fingerprints shall be submitted to the department of public safety.
