The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Program Manager Structures/Mechanical Systems IPT Leader (Level K) to support the B52J Program Team in Oklahoma City OK.

We are looking for a candidate who will manage the Commercial Engine Replacement Program (CERP) Structures/Mechanical Systems IPT which is responsible for developing designing analyzing and delivering primary and secondary structures hydraulics fuels Environmental Controls Systems (ECS) and throttle products that will enable integration of new engines on the B52 aircraft.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manages employees performing business management activities in the area of Program Management.
- Develops and executes project and process plans implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
- Acquires resources for projects and processes provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes.
- Establishes Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) program goals and establishes a PMBP improvement plan.
- Manages develops and motivates employees.
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
- Bachelors degree or higher or equivalent experience
- Experience with Program Management including scheduling and Cost Account Manager (CAM) Earned Value Management (EVM)
- 3 years of experience in Program Management including cost schedule and technical management.
- 3 years of experience working with U.S. Government customers.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fastpaced environment
- A passion for building strong peoplefocused organizations and know how to define build execute and measure against the enterprises vision
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 3 years of experience in the production modification and/or conversion of airplanes
- Proficient experience using project management tools & best practices
- Experience developing & integrating strategic projects and initiatives to meet business goals
- Experience leading team of project managers
- Experience in a role that required organizational skills with the capability to prioritize facilitate and coordinate multiple projects
