Join our dynamic team at Georgia Spine & Orthopaedics a leading provider of comprehensive spine and orthopedic care across multiple locations in GA including Atlanta Columbus Gwinnett Marietta Tucker Stockbridge Roswell and our Surgery Center. Specializing in cuttingedge treatment while maintaining a conservative approach were dedicated to delivering exceptional care to our patients.


GSO is currently seeking a dedicated individual to take on the role of Care Coordinator. As a Care Coordinator you will be responsible for serving as the primary point of contact for patients throughout their care journey as well as for external referral sources. This will involve ensuring seamless communication and coordination between our practice patients and referral sources.


We are looking for candidates with a passion for patient care and a knack for organization. While experience in a medical setting is beneficial we prioritize candidates who exhibit compassion and attention to detail. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.

Care Coordinator Responsibilities

  • Processing referrals as generated by our providers.
  • Work with thirdparty payers to obtain authorization for procedures.
  • Being the liaison between the thirdparty payers the patient and our clinical staff
  • Upkeep daily weekly and monthly reporting.
  • Provide outstanding customer service.
  • Schedule clinic visits and specialty procedures
  • Work collaboratively within group email boxes.
  • Answer the phones.

Requirements
  • High School diploma or greater
  • 3 years of medical office experience or the equivalent is preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrated skills in collaboration teamwork and problemsolving to achieve goals.
  • Demonstrated skills in written and verbal communication and listening.
  • Demonstrated skills in providing excellent service to customers.
  • A high level of integrity and trustability to keep information confidential.
