Key Responsibilities
- Custom Development:Develop and maintain custom WordPress plugins themes and backend functionalities.
- Database Management:Design manage and optimize databases ensuring data integrity and performance.
- Performance Optimization:Ensure WordPress sites are optimized for speed security and scalability.
- Code Quality:Maintain high standards of code quality including code reviews and best practices.
- Collaboration:Work closely with frontend developers and UI/UX designers to integrate backend functionality with userfacing elements.
- Troubleshooting:Identify and resolve issues bugs and performance bottlenecks.
- Mentorship:Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers fostering a collaborative development environment.
- Continuous Improvement:Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends tools and technologies to continuously improve our backend solutions.
Requirements
Education:Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
Experience:3 years of experience in WordPress backend development with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
Skills:
- Proficiency in PHP MySQL and WordPress development.
- Experience with custom plugin and theme development.
- Strong understanding of WordPress architecture and best practices.
- Familiarity with version control systems preferably Git.
- Experience with performance optimization and security best practices.
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
Preferred:Knowledge of modern backend frameworks RESTful APIs and cloud hosting environments.
